||I am currently a 1st year PhD student at ELTE, Budapest (Romance linguistics), and from September 2007 onwards also at Paris 7 University. I graduated in English and French and I am also a 3rd year student at the Theoretical Linguistics Department. Basically, I am interested in anything in connection with syntax (especially representational), but I am open to minimalism as well. In the future I wish to continue my previous research into the field of the syntax of questions, especially in English, French and Hungarian. This is why some of the courses offered seem to be quite beneficial for this purpose (for example those of Ben Hermans, Theresa Biberauer, Olaf Koeneman, among others).
In addition, besides my university studies I’ve participated in some EU cultural exchanges, where I simply loved meeting people from all around Europe and discussing various issues. I have heard a lot about EGG, more precisely that it is a great experience and opportunity, both from a professional and from this latter point of view.
Finally, my more, sort of personal motivation: I have never been to the Czech Republic before…
