||This year I am graduating from Russian State Pedagogical University (Saint-Petersburg). My major linguistic interests are concentrated in both lexical and grammatical semantics. My Bachelor paper is dedicated to historical semantics of the Russian language. Actually, I investigate the history of one Russian word (“poshlyj”) taking into account all its grammatical derivatives, which were appearing during the 19th century. In spite of being deepened into diachronical linguistics I very well understand the value of sinchronical studies. Thus, I think it would be useful for my research to be partly based on generative grammar. I have never been to Czech Republic but I would always like to visit the motherland of Kafka, Janaček and Mathesius.
