||I am an Anthropology major, and pursuing minors in Linguistics and TESoL. WVU does not offer a Linguistics major, so I am following this course of study as I have a wide range of interests. I have had some expierence with linguistics; having taken a 101-level course, Intro to Structural, Phonology, and I am signed up for Syntax in the fall. I am extremely interested in the field. I would like to get a wider view of it: so that I can possibly specialize later on. The opportunity to study abroad, and get a new perspective is one which I find very enticing. I hope to be able to combine my interests; and hopefully forward the literature, the experiences, and both fields.
