||During my study I focused on language acquisition in typically as well as atypically developing children. I have been particularly interested in how various acquisition processes and disorders manifest themselves across different languages. In other words, what the universal and specific characteristics of the language development are. Many times I came across the terms "universal grammar", "principles and parameters" etc. but I have never focused on generative linguistics in itself. It's a pity that my knowledge on GG is very restricted. I see the Summer school as a great opportunity to gain some knowledge within the generative theoretical framework. As I would like to continue to study linguistics, I will surely benefit from this knowledge later.
In addition, I find it very interesting to discuss various linguistic issues with people of different academic as well as cultural backgrounds as everyone can contribute by approaching the problem from a different angle. I look forward to meeting all of them.
