Topics in the semantics of questions

We will discuss aspects of the semantics (and pragmatics) of questions. Some topics we might cover: compositionality in questions, exhaustivity, scope and interpretation of which- phrases, functional readings, multiple questions, wh-quantifier interactions, quantificational variability effects, total vs. partial answers.
Note: Some background in semantics will be assumed. (e.g. familiarity with Heim and Kratzer 1998 textbook or equivalent)
