Introduction to Neurolinguistics
Linnaea Stockall
This course will provide an overview of the current state of our knowledge about how the human brain does language, with a focus on how the different tools we use to investigate neuro-cognition work. We'll review EEG, MEG, fMRI and TMS, and see how each tool enables us to address different linguistic questions. The goal is to enable students to access the growing neuro-linguistics literature by making the physics and neurobiology this research depends on less opaque.
