I have been to the EGG two times before and as I'm finishing up my PhD on ellipsis this year, this might be the last summer I can benefit from the ultimate linguistic experience that is the EGG. I'm looking forward to it immensely, because the EGG is my idea of combining seeing my linguist friends again and learning more about my favorite research topic language. Also, this year's topic interests me a lot: after having limited my research domain somewhat over the past two years, I feel it's time to broaden my knowledge scope again and learn about new ways of looking at language. |
