I am finishing my master thesis in FLUL (Lisbon) on the syntax (with a cartographic perspective and in a phase-based approach) of some Wh-constructions with non-default readings as the special questions of the Obenauer’s type, in European Portuguese. I am also looking into the difference between regular speakers/children with a regular acquisition and aphasic speakers/children with s-SLI regarding their production and comprehension of those constructions.
So, in this Egg, the courses that attract me more are: Pesetsky, Bart Hollebrandse, Hamida Demirdache and Omer Preminger, as well the courses related to acquisition and language disorders and the ones about pragmatics (specially, Uli Sauerland, Linnaea Stockall, Stavroula Stavrakaki, Mary Ann Walter, Stavroula Stavrakaki, Spyridoula Varlokosta courses). I think those seminars will be really useful for me, although I suspect the timetable will not allow me attend them all.
Last Egg was my first Egg. The experience was fantastic and I hope to begin to have an assiduous presence in the coming Eggs. |
