self-descriptionHi! My name is Tatjana and I have a bachelor degree in African Languages (Swahili) which I received last year at St. Petersburg State University (Russia). My research at the university was primarly focused on the morphosyntax of the Bantu languages. I have also some publications on possessive, attributive constructions and nominal classification in Swahili and Rwanda. I’ve always been enthusiastic about generative linguistics and after reading some works of N. Chomsky and S. Pinker decided to get a second degree in computational linguistics. So, now I’m a student at Saarland University (Germany). I think that the EGG summer programm will help me to broaden my knowledge, contact with interesting researchers and inspire me as a computational linguist for the next semester. I'm especially interested in the courses taught by Dr. H. Pearson and M. Abrusan.
