I am currently pursuing an MA in English at the University of Novi Sad. My thesis is syntax-related, so syntax is the field I am most interested in (Embedding and Syntax of Case sound great). However, the classes sound so amazing this year that I would like to attend a number of other classes such as Language Games, Agreement and Its Failures, Semantics of Plurals, Lexical Development, etc., etc. I work as a teacher of English at the University of Belgrade, so many of these courses seem interesting in that sense, but there is also a number of classes I would like to attend out of pure interest in linguistics and language intricacies (this year's language-acquisition and bilingualism classes are an absolute must). Last, but not the least, I attended Egg two years ago and had a great time, so it would be great to see some people again and meet new people, too. |
