Hello! I'm a second year PhD student, and I'm also teaching Psychology students. Therefore, although my main interest would be in semantics and pragmatics, I'm extremely excited about the expansion of this year's egg's scope, probably a consequence of last year's initiations in various forms of dance and meditation. ;-) Thus I have a secondary, if equally strong interest in this year's classes on Bilingualism, L2 learning and SLI, Neurolinguistics, and Language Acquisition, as I'm hoping to take my summery knowledge into my classroom. So I'm very much looking forward to Linnaea Stockall's, Stavroula Stavrakaki's, and Bart Hollebrandse's intro classes, as well as Mary Ann Walter's, David Pesetsky's, and Uli Sauerland's topical classes. Inasmuch as the timetable allows it, I would love to check out all the classes on these topics. I hope to see you again, (quasi-veteran) Ramona |
