Although my background in linguistics has been very brief (starting January 2008), I am currently set to graduate at the end of the Winter semester 2009 from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. There are many aspects of linguistics that I am interested in, but my extra curricular reading is based in semantics/pragmatics and logic. I am currently reading The Poverty of the Moral Stimulus by John Mikhail, from Walter Sinnott-Armstrong, ed., Moral Psychology Volume 1: The Evolution of Morality., Mathematical Methods in Linguistics by Barbara H. Partee, et al., and Pragmatics by Stephen C. Levinson. |
