Hi guys! This year I've got good news - I've just become a PhD student this April and decided my main topic will be somewhere in NLP. I am currently engaged in redefining the morphological description of the Serbian language, made for the electronic, machine readable dictionary developed at the Belgrade University, and adapting it to the standards of the MULTEXT East project. That is why this time my favourite courses are going to be morphologically oriented. I am lucky to have the combination of neurology and morphology, on which I count to broaden my views. So, the classes by Linnaea Stockall, Natalia Gagarina and Spyridoula Varlokosta are my pick, but I am, as a rule, still in love with the syntax of case and agreement and I will not miss David Pesetsky and Omer Preminger. Although totally out of my working field right now, I would also like to listen to Bart Hollebrandse. |
