I am a cognitive scientist, interested mostly in psycholinguistics (I do my PhD in psycholinguistics). I am interested in formal linguistics, especially formal semantics, but also syntax and phonology (they are not separable from each other). I finished my master in cognitive science (the Cogmaster in Paris). Although I took many courses in linguistics during my studies, I am not a real linguist, so my knowledge about language is rather poor. I want to work on cognitive processes in language, and to do this kind of interdisciplinary research, I need to understand the processes and rules of language. Participation in the EGG would be a great opportunity for me to learn something about generative linguistics and meet people who are interested in the same fields that I am. |
