I have completed an MA in London in Applied Linguistics and TESOL and the reason I would like to join the school is because I have decided to pursue a second Master's degree, this time in Theoretical Linguistics. I have always been fascinated by syntax, morphology and semantics as well as the relationship between language and mind. I have a fairly good background in Linguistics from my BA though I would like to attend these seminars so as to exchange ideas and opinions and listen to more advanced issues concerning syntax and morphology. I am also interested in the cognitive aspects of language so I look forward to attending the seminars of the COST project, too. |
