Welcome!
I am a PhD student at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. This time at the FIRST place I particularly look forward to Tobias Scheer's classes but also Charles Reiss and Marc Van Oostendorp’s ones since they propose topics I am interested in and which may contribute to my PhD thesis. Currently I am focusing on Polish English metrical structure within OT framework and among the mentioned classes my particular attention will be also given to classes on OT by Joe Pater’s. Obviously, the EGG provides a great opportunity for rethinking your approach to generative linguistics. I have benefited a lot from my prvious eggy courses (Brno, Debrecen and Poznan) and now I am more than sure that this year's encounter with the EGG would be equally rewarding. And I would not like to miss that chance. What is more, I have heard that Constanta is a beautiful place to come! |
