I just completed a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Romance Languages, and will go on to pursue a Master’s next year. My main interests are in phonetics and phonology, but this year’s theme about the cognitive aspects of language is something that interests me tremendously. After a brief introduction into the fields of neuro-and psycholinguistics as an undergraduate, I hope to continue studies in those areas, particularly as it relates to language acquisition and developmental disorders, and am excited about the opportunity to engage in this material at the EGG! |
